Hey all,

Frequency Cannon wishes all their Muslims selamat berpuasa. As usual, during Ramadan everything slows down in terms of activity. So check back once the Raya holiday is over. Everyone is busy shopping for baju melayu, kuih raya etc. Also, Azrul intends to keep a healthy diet this year round by passing all his kuih raya to Kuachee & Keng.

SCREAM in PEACE tour - postphoned

Just a quick note, FC would like to apologized to all their fans for postponing the SCREAM IN PEACE nationwide tour that was supposed to have kick off in May 2010. As the previous post mentioned, FC has some things to settle from their end before they can resume their live shows. We will update more on that when time permits us. For now, just enjoy the album in the confort of your own home. =P

Story so far

Hi all, sorry for the long silence. The boys are in a dilemma as the nationwide tour SCREAM in PEACE was planned in May – July 2010. However, due to reasons we’re not allowed to mention in detail. The boys have decided to pull out from the tour for now and push it to a later date sometime this year. They have decided to leave the dates hanging for now until they have sorted out on their priorities. If things go well, we should see more updates in the coming months.

In the meantime, the FC boys have decided to hit the studios and work on new materials. Watch this space for updates. Please be patient while we sort out our priorities.

Hey guys,

Here’s a short clip of FC and their song “2nd Chance” & “Can U?” for their show on 6th Feb 2010. It was held at Sunway Convention Center & the crowd was just rocking!

Basically, they belted out a 50 minutes set, but only managed to record this clip. The video guy decided to drop his video cam and join the crowd. Can’t blame him.

Hey all, it’s been a while. We all decided to take a couple of weeks off because we’re stuck in the studio recording new materials.

You know how it is, sometimes we get writers block, sometimes we jam crappy stuff. Well, that’s life. But it’s all fun.

Yeah yeah, we know. Well, we needed to take a break from the studio as Kua Chee and Dino had some personal issues to settle despite the long hours in the studio.

Anyway, here’s some updates. Voize Independent Music Awards (VIMA) is back for 2010 and they are open for submissions. Frequency Cannon has submitted the entry for Best Music Video for “Rise Above” and also their new single “Twinkle”.

We’ll see if that qualifies for the nominations.

In the mean time, we’re thinking of revamping our FC logo. So check back here often because there’s going to be a contest soon. we need your help to make this happen.

How’s everyone doing? Sorry we’ve been quiet for the past couple of weeks. Been busy with so many things.

Anyway, Updates. Azrul Funkcat’s birthday is just around the corner.. Anyone knows what we should get him?

We suggested getting him a couple of Playstation 3 games, but it looks as though he has them all. Let us know your thoughts.

So far we completed 2 new songs. The 1st is called “HOPE'” and the other one is called “TWINKLE”.

Rudy from Popshuvit/Rudy’s Lightroom was kind enough to help us with the packaging for our Electronic Publishing Kit. We’ll be using this to promote the band to clients etc. Not for the general public.

Expect to hear more from us in the coming months. We’re getting the hang of songwriting again.

Hey guys, Sorry for the delayed in posting. We’ve been tied up. Anyway, We’ve completed the recording for our song ‘HOPE’.

Dino recorded his drum parts for the other new song last night. Kuachee recorded his vocals and is fine tuning some stuff.

It will all be done, by end of this week. God willing.

This is FYI: Kuachee Likes to play Fashion Wars on Facebook. Can you believe that? He actually bought himself an LV bag for his sorority sisters.

Dino on the other hand is more towards the violent side. He’s a mafia on Mafia wars. So if you wanna know fashion, hit Kuachee. if you wanna cause chaos etc, do get in touch with Dino.

The end results pretty satisfying . The guitars sound really fierce this time around…just the way we like it!

Keng’s guitar recording

Keng laid the tracks for our new single ‘Hope’.

Sounding rather good. After trying out some ideas, we finally have the rhythm section set.

Now Kuachee is focusing on his vocals. He will be recording his vocals by next week.

Kuachee, Keng & Dino in the studio. Writing new song for the upcoming album. Well, we started miking up the drums. Kuachee took out his line 6 and his laptop and started messing around. Keng arrived half an hour later..

Armed with his guitar, Dino listened to Keng's guitar idea and started providing the drum beats for the new idea. Kuachee started recording the idea as we jammed. Azrul couldn't make it because he's practicing his bass parts for recording sometime during the weekend.

After messing around in the jamming room, we chilled together, and called it a night. The weekend should be interesting as we should get the bass done by then.
